sharing at FBC

on Sunday evening, August 8, i will be sharing with FBC Dadeville about my summer in Senegal.  i am trying to get some samples of Senegalese food together for this evening.  along with sharing about what God is doing among the Lebou people, i will also try to tell more about their culture.  i believe that it is important to have an understanding of the Lebou culture in order to understand how our ministry is set up in Senegal.  i know that nearly everyone as a concept of what a "missionary" does in a foreign country.  some of these ideas are probably accurate, but then some are not.  missionary work greatly varies in every part of the world.  i would love to share about what my daily life was like as a missionary in Senegal.  please try to be there!  i will also be sharing with a few other churches, but i will not be able to do the food samples and culture education there.  it will be fun!!!!
