little Senegal

so the other weekend i finally made the trip to New Jersey. oh my. it was like a little senegal. I visited with a senegalese family that i knew from my first summer in Yoff. it was crazy. now whenever i miss senegal i know where i can go for not even a fraction of the cost.

i was able to enjoy attaaya, ceebu jenn, fataayas, wolof, etc etc. seriously senegal in the states. lots of funny things happened as well. i look foward to visiting again. so all of you who are too afraid or cheap or whatever to go to senegal with me, now you can simply fly to NJ with me. so much fun. oh how i love them.
